I think the face is too orange ecpecially with the splash in the backround being the same colour and the face is more detailed than the hair and makes the hair than look a bit flat maybe it's just me.

The pic is really quite good - especially that face. Although I do agree that it is a tad too orange the detail and expression are very well drawn.

I think the face is more golden than orange .. and I rather like the color. That and the way the eye slope give the portrait a really "other than human" look. Nice one!

Yeah, I kind of sense the "too-orangy-color" as well when I was painting it, so that's why I try to pale the background splash a bit..^^lll
(I had the splash before I paint the actual figure..^^;; So you can say I developed the figure from the splash..^_^)

I will try to keep that in mind, I think this is one thing I keep on doing with my paintings...>_<
